After returning from Ghana,we showcased in SYNC
Fashion show Fundraiser & Sickle Cell awareness Event.Sell Cell Youth Network & Connect( SYNC) is a non-profit Organization founded by Nikki G.William. It was a a pleasure to participate in this event for the 2nd time. The event was on August 25,2012 at the Mt.Carmel Hall. Till this
day there is no cure for Sickle Cell Disease, however our main objective
in partnering with Sync is to bring awareness and touch the lives of
the families who are impacted with it. The host of the show was the talented and handsome Kevin Thompson, whom celebrity talk show host Wendy Williams refers to as her "hype man". We Thank you all for joining us that evening.
In august we returned home to Ghana to showcase in Glitz Africa Fashion week. This was an amazing experience in which we dreamed about since we launched our collections. We always wanted to go back home to showcase our talent for our family, friends and supporters in Ghana to see.We showcased our never before seen Spring/Summer 2013 collection. On the day of our show Africa's Great Designer Kofi Ansah came to meet us,after he heard us on Ghana's hit radio station 107.9 YFM the day before. It was a blessing to be in his presence. The audience was excited about every look that came down the runway. The models felt confident and had a fun time walking down to the sounds of starship by Nikki Minaj and music by Sean Paul, in our vibrant, bold, designs. We had a wonderful time in Ghana enjoying the great food, music, and fresh air with beautiful people.Glitz put on an amazing production showcasing many talented African designers and we were happy to be a part of it.
